LIVING FEARLESSLY

After years of infertility, I lived in fear. Fear of being seen, fear of being judged, fear of failure, and fear of loss. When I became a mom, I felt different from the other moms around me. I felt I had more to prove.
Fear is a natural and necessary human response that protects us from the physical threat of being attacked and the social threat of not belonging. However, we can decide if that fear is warranted. We can ask ourselves: Is there a real threat?
When I learned to question my fear, I learned to live more confidently, more authentically, and more joyfully. I learned to make myself big, listen to my intuition, and pursue my dreams. This quote says it best:
"Fear is nothing more than an obstacle that stands in the way of progress. In overcoming our fears, we can move forward, strong and wiser within ourselves."
-Unknown
Acknowledging my fears helps me live more fully. Instead of questioning others integrity, I choose to see the good and the gifts in others. And instead of doubting my abilities, I choose to challenge myself beyond what I think is possible.
You are capable of more than you know. Take some time this week and ask yourself: How might fear be holding you back?
I would be delighted to hear from you! Reply and share what living fearlessly means to you.
Sending love and hugs,
